This specimen was lot 1855 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "OVERIJSSEL: Dutch Republic, AR silver ducat, 1736, crude flan, straight clip at 12:30, lightly cleaned, a few small scratches, good strike, EF, RR. We could find no listings of this date on any of the search engines." This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794. This particular variety was struck 1734-47, 1764, 1767, Of the Dutch mints, the Utrecht mint is still in operation, striking euros.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a rare date.

Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver, .793 troy oz ASW.
