This token is not considered a Conder token, being issued after Conder wrote his book, but is often included with them as part of the vast array of British private tokens issued before the Royal mint was reformed in 1816. Wikipedia comments, "Peterborough is a cathedral city in the City of Peterborough district in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For many centuries, the city and its surroundings, as the Soke of Peterborough, were part of the historic county of Northamptonshire."
