This specimen was lot 32458 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Penny 1920-(M) MS62 Brown NGC, Melbourne mint. Dot below bottom scroll. Chocolate brown and fully mint-state. The scarcity of high quality examples of this date/type is indicated by our lack of previous such offerings." The type was struck 1911-36 at London, Calcutta, Melbourne (this specimen), Sydney and Heaton. Several varieties exist, varying in the placement (or absence) of dots on the reverse. Altho the date is scarce, this variety is the most common.
