This specimen was lot 3485 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,227 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Josef II. 1765-1790. Dukat 1786, F, Hall. GOLD. Sehr attraktives Exemplar, vorzüglich. (Austria, Joseph II, 1765-90, ducat of 1786, Hall mint. Ver attractive extremely fine.)"
This type was minted at Hall 1781-86. It is not rare but obtains a slight premium over the bare head (Fr-439) used at other mints.
