This specimen was lot 387 in Sincona sale 84 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,616 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 10 Kopecks 1849, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PA. NGC MS65. Beautiful condition with magnificent patina. Tied with two others for finest certified by NGC."
This type was struck 1832-58 in large numbers and this is a common date. In 1859, the silver was reduced to 0.750 fine and reduced again to 0.500 fine in 1867.

Specification: 2.07 g, 0.868 fine silver, .028 troy oz ASW, this specimen 2.05 g.
