This specimen was lot 10290 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $282. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Bavaria. Taler, 1827. PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, Unc Details Secure Holder." Three different commemorative thalers were issued for 1827, of which this is the most common.
