Shown is a Spanish two reales struck in 1761 at the Madrid mint. Assayer JP is recorded for the years 1759-1763. This specimen was auctioned by Cayon Subastas in Madrid, Spain, on September 15, 2011, where it hammered for 22 Euros (about US$36 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:

"Madrid. 2 reales. 1761. JP. BC+ (two reales of 1761, Madrid mint, choice Fine.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.833 fine silver, 0.1813 troy oz ASW.
