The Netherlands was the last country to strike ducats on a regular basis. This modernized type was struck beginning in 1986 and sold to bullion investors. Similar double ducats exist.

Recorded mintage: 8,000 proofs.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, 21 mm diameter, reeded edge.
