This fifty lepta was struck for Greece at the Paris mint 1868 (rare), 1874 (common) and 1883 (somewhat scarce). It is one of the few Greek silver coins of the nineteenth century which is readily available.

Recorded mintage: 4,501,000.

Specification: 2.5 g, .835 fine silver, .067 troy oz ASW, reeded edge, designed by Barré.
