This specimen was lot 23002 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Las Vegas, August 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREECE. 20 Lepta, 1874-A. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. A superb little Gem quality coin, richly toned on both sides." This twenty lepta was struck for Greece at the Paris mint 1874 (common) and 1883 (rather scarce). It is one of the few Greek silver coins of the nineteenth century which is readily available.

Recorded mintage: 2,223,000 + proofs.

Specification: 1 g, 0.835 fine silver.
