The first specimen was lot 4417 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $230. The catalog description[1] noted, "Greece. Drachma, 1873-A. George I. Lightly toned and lustrous. NGC graded AU-58." This drachma was struck for Greece at the Paris mint 1868, 1873-74 and 1883. It is one of the few Greek silver coins of the nineteenth century which is somewhat available.
