Steve Album sale 30, lot 1117

This specimen was lot 1117 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $141. The catalog description[1] noted, "MECKLENBURG-SCHWERIN: Friedrich Franz I, 1785-1837, AR 4 schilling 1826, lustrous, NGC graded MS65." The grand duke also issued a schilling (KM 263), 8 schilling (KM 266) and various 2/3 thaler (KM 261, 262, 265).

Recorded mintage: 621,338.

Specification: 3.3 g, .437 fine silver, this specimen 3.19 g.
