This specimen was lot 23375 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. 25 Cents, 1912. Utrecht Mint. Wilhelmina. PCGS PROOF-63. KM-146. With just two other examples in proof seen at PCGS, this VERY RARE and enticing specimen presents gleaming surfaces that are largely untoned along with a very sharp strike. Assured to be on the short list of those seeking stellar examples that are almost never available in the market." This type, struck 1910-21 and 1925, features the "mantled bust" of queen Wilhelmina. On her coronation in 1898, the regency ended and she assumed full powers of the throne. This bust was used on all the silver and gold denominations from the ten cents to the ten gulden.

Recorded mintage: 1,600,000, a better date.

Specification: 3.57 g, 0.640 fine silver, 19 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 146, Sch-862.
