Shown is a Spanish two reales struck in 1764 at the Madrid mint. Assayer PJ is recorded for the years 1764-1771. This specimen was auctioned Cayon Subastas in Madrid, Spain, on September 15, 2011, where it hammered for 48 Euros (about US$78 including buyer's fees). The catalog description reads:
"Madrid. 2 reales. 1764. PJ. Ligeras oxid. en rev. MBC+ (two reales of 1764, Madrid mint, light corrosion on reverse, choice very fine.)"

Specification: 6.77 g, 0.833 fine silver, 0.1813 troy oz ASW.
