This specimen was lot 2058 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $3,840. The catalog description[1] noted, "Poltina 1743 CПБ. Authenticated and graded by NGC AU 58 ex Brand (# 6611824-004). Pearly slate gray, ample lustre. Very choice, virtually Uncirculated." This type was struck 1741-49 at Moscow (KM C18.1) and 1742-51 at St. Petersburg (shown here). It is rather expensive in collectible condition.
Recorded mintage: 79,000 for 1742-45.
