This specimen was lot 5320 in Sincona sale 80 (Zurich, October 2022), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$330 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND | Zurich | Stadt und Kanton, Taler 1722, Zürich. Stadtansicht. Very fine." This type was struck 1722 and 1725. Another thaler struck in 1722 featured two lions on the obverse (Dav-1784). In 1798, the canton of Zurich was forcibly incorporated into the Helvetic Republic.
