This type is listed for 1878-86. This type, struck for William III (1849-90) is virtually indistinguishable from those struck for Wilhelmina (KM 109.2). This date is common in all grades. In 1877, the half cent was reduced from 1.92 g to 1.25 g and struck in that weight until 1940.

Recorded mintage: 7,800,000.

Specification: 1.25 g, bronze, 14 mm diameter.
