This specimen was lot 1448 in Sincona sale 76 (Zurich, May 2022), where it sold for 650 CHF (about US$789 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Karl VI. 1711-1740. 1/2 Taler 1731, Graz. Selten. Vorzüglich-FDC. NGC MS62. Feine Patina. Winziger Schrötlingsfehler. (Austria, Charles VI, 1711-40, half thaler of 1731, Graz mint. Rare, Extremely fine-uncirculated, Nicely toned, Minor flan flaw.)"
Half thalers were not produced on a regular basis during Karl's reign. This type was struck at Graz 1731 and 1738-39 and is scarce. A few others from Hall round out the list.
