This specimen was lot 424 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mahmud I, 1730-1754, AR yirmilik (20 para) Gümüshane, AH1143, initial #12; one area of weakness on both sides (because the flan was not of even thickness), still a better than average example, VF, R." This type was struck with mintmarks with viii (sin), X (ta), xii ('ain), xxix (mm). No regnal date appears on these coins.
