This specimen was lot 70657 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Baden. 10 Mark, 1875-G. Stuttgart Mint. Friedrich I. NGC EF-45. Wholly original looking, this handsome example exhibits even wear and is pleasing to the eye displaying attractive mild gold patina." This type was struck 1875-81 and 1888. Several German states issued gold five mark in 1877 but the denomination was abandoned in favor of a silver five mark, gold being restricted to ten and twenty mark pieces. This date is common.
