This specimen was lot 2894 in Ponterio sale 164 (New York, January 2012), where it sold for $299. The catalog description^[1] noted, "NORWAY. 24 Skilling, 1744-TL. Christian VI (1730-46). NGC EF Details--Surface Hairlines." This type is listed for 1737-46 and, despite the substantial mintage, is scarce. This denomination was one-fourth of a specie daler.
