This specimen was lot 668 in Jean Elsen sale 140 (Brussels, March 2019), where it sold for €160 (about US$213 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Baudouin (1951-1993), AR 20 frank, 1955NL. Rare. Superbe à Fleur de Coin. (kingdom of Belgium, Baldwin I, 1951-93, gold twenty francs of 1955, Flemish legends. Rare, Extremely Fine - Uncirculated.)"
This type was issued 1949-55 with French and Flemish legends and is common except for the 1955. A similar fifty francs (KM 136 and KM 137) also exists.
Recorded mintage: 3,760,000.
Specification: 8 g, 0.835 fine silver, 27 mm diameter.
