Kunker sale 293, lot 472

This specimen was lot 472 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,157 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Friedrich Ulrich, 1613-1634. Löser zu 1 1/4 Reichstalern o. J. (1622), Andreasberg. Ausbeuteprägung. Sogenannter Glückslöser. Mit geprägter Wertzahl. Preussag Collection (Auktion London Coin Galleries/Künker 1) 56. RR Attraktives Exemplar mit hübscher Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Siehe auch Müseler Band III. 10.2, Zuweisung dort nach Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Celle unter Christian, Bischof von Minden. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Frederick Ulrich, 1613-34, undated 1¼ "fortune" thaler, for the Andreasberg mine, denomination in cartouche. The similar Dav-6313 lacks the denomination on the obverse and uses a different reverse.
