Sincona sale 78, lot 426

This specimen was lot 426 in Sincona sale 78 (Zurich, October 2022), where it sold for 50 CHF (about US$60 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Alexander I. 1801-1825, 2 Kopecks 1810, Izhora Mint, IM PS. Good extremely fine. Small edge nick." This type was struck at Izhora 1810-14, which is a slightly better mint.
