Sincona sale 87, lot 4083

This specimen was lot 4083 in Sincona sale 87 (Zürich, October 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, 3 Quarts 1775, Genf. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, three quarts of 1775, Geneva mint. Rare in this condition, Uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1763, 1775 and 1785 and is common. A six quarts (KM 67a) also exists. One sol = 12 deniers, one florin = 12 sols, one thaler = 12 florins and 9 sols.
