Ponterio sale 164, lot 2888

This specimen was lot 2888 in Ponterio sale 164 (New York, January 2012), where it sold for $1,380. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1670. VERY FINE." The SCWC lists two different two mark types for 1670, of which this is the second. The first (KM 95) was 11.14 g, 0.672 fine silver. Both are scarce.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 10.63 g, 0.667 silver.
