Glarus 1810 3 schilling

This specimen was lot 4303 in Sincona sale 77 (Zurich, May 2022), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$607 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Glarus, 3 Schillinge 1810, Glarus. Selten. Sehr schön-fast vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Glarus, three schilling of 1810, Glarus mint. Rare, Very fine-about extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1809-10 and 1814 and is scarce. The last issue from this canton was a shooting festival forty batzen issued in 1847. Three schilling was nine rappen; one hundred rappen made a frank.
