Norway 1845 12 skilling
This specimen was lot 36412 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 12 Skilling, 1845. Kongsberg Mint. Oscar I. NGC MS-63. Finest certified by NGC." This four year type was struck 1845-48 while Norway was under Swedish rule. It featured the new king Oscar and was worth one tenth of a specie daler. This is the most common date.
