Stack's Bowers March 2020 internet sale, lot 92444

This specimen was lot 92444 in Stack's Bowers internet sale (Santa Ana, CA, March 2020), where it sold for $55. The catalog description noted, "2008-P Bald Eagle Recovery and National Emblem Silver Dollar. Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (NGC)." This type was accompanied by a silver half dollar struck at San Francisco and a gold five dollars struck at West Point (KM 440). It is the only commemorative dollar of 2008.

Recorded mintage: 119,204 plus 294,601 proofs.

Specification: 26.73 g, 0.900 fine silver, 38.1 mm diameter.
