This specimen was lot 2078 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$168 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Heiliges Romisch Reich, Leopold I. 1657-1705. 1/4 Taler 1698, Kremnitz. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Austria, Leopold I, 1657-1705, quarter thaler of 1698, Kremnitz mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Attractive patina.)"
This variety, struck 1694-1704, is listed as one of the more common quarter thalers of the period. Hungary in 1698 had been freshly reconquered by the Austrians from the Turks but was not part of the Empire.
