This specimen was lot 20542 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $910.63. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREECE. 10 Lepta, 1837. NGC MS-63 BN. Sharply struck with glossy brown surfaces. An excellent example of this date." Altho this is the highest mintage date, the 1833 remains the most available date of a type struck 1833-44.
Recorded mintage: 2,660,000.
Specification: 12.99 g, copper, 28 mm diameter, plain edge.
