This type, struck 1898-1906, features the "coronation head" of queen Wilhelmina. On her coronation in 1898, the regency ended and she assumed full powers of the throne. This bust was used on all the silver and gold denominations from the ten cents to the ten gulden.
Recorded mintage: 6,000,000 (a common date).
Specification: 1.4 g, 0.640 fine silver, 15 mm diameter, reeded edge.
