This specimen was lot 1531 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: AV 100 kurush, 1961, NGC graded MS64." This monnaie de luxe was struck 1942-2021 for use in jewelry. It is wider and thinner than the hundred kurush struck for bullion. It is not known circulated.
Recorded mintage: 77,000.
Specification: 7.02 g, 0.917 fine gold.
