This specimen was lot 46352 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. Pound, AH 1399 (1979). Cairo Mint. PCGS PROOF-68 Cameo. National Education Day issue." This NCLT was accompanied by a copper-nickel ten qirsh (KM 486) struck for circulation.

Recorded mintage: 98,000 plus 2,000 proofs.

Specification: 15 g, 0.720 fine silver, 35 mm diameter.
