Rupee, AM 1218, Year 8 (1789). Patan Mint. NGC MS-65. KM-126. A real beauty. Single finest certified at NGC. Sharply struck with soft satin luster and highly attractive. Ex: Paul Stevens Collection." The Indian state of Mysore, under her rulers Haider Ali (1761-82) and Tipu Sultan (1782-99), was a serious thorn in the side of the British Raj.
