This specimen was lot 40120 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $5,760. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Newfoundland. Cent, 1920-C. Ottawa Mint. PCGS MS-65 Red. Fully lustrous with a superb cherry-red patina. This is a truly exceptional survivor and the key to the George V series in Mint State. This is the only MS-65 at PCGS with the coveted Red designation with only a single higher-graded coin in the same designation, an MS-66. Ex: Belzberg Collection (Heritage - 1/2003) Lot # 15666." This type was struck 1913, 1917-20, 1929 and 1936. It is not listed as valuable. It is the last large cent struck in North America, Canada having dropped large cents in 1920 and the United States in 1857.
