[[Cuba]] - Mexico. 2 Reales, ND (1872-77). PCGS VG-10. Countermark: Variety A, Short and thick key. Applied to the obverse of a 1826-Mo JM Mexico Republic 2 Reales (KM-374.10). An EXTREMELY RARE and seldom encountered early date host for this series." The second specimen was lot 40328 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $840.
