This specimen was lot 348 in a recent William Rosenblum sale (Littleton, CO, January 2011). The SCWC records this product of the St. Petersburg mint (СПБ) for 1796-1801, with three mintmasters recorded for 1801. The type is not rare in circulated condition. The earlier dates are recorded in Davenport as Dav-1688 but are the same type.
Recorded mintage: 3,143,000 for all mintmasters.
Specification: 20.73 g, 0.868 fine silver, .578 troy oz ASW.
