This specimen was issued by the Mexico City mint to honor the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between Mexico and the USA. Like many recent issues, it remains unlisted in the SCWC. The oblong patch on the obverse contains microengraving, an anticounterfeiting device. Numista states that this is an issue of 2023. It may have been released in 2023 but the coin is dated 2022.

Recorded Mintage: 4,995,130.

Specification: 15.95 g, bimetallic, aluminum-bronze outer ring with a copper-nickel center, 32 mm diameter.
