Goldberg sale 78, lot 3486

This specimen was lot 3486 in Goldberg sale 78 (Los Angeles, January 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands - Utrecht. 10 Stuivers, 1793. Standing female figure against column. Lovely example. Pop 1, none finer. NGC graded MS-65." This type, equal to half a gulden, was struck 1750-94 and most dates are common. A few were also struck in gold.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 5.3 g, .920 fine silver, .156 troy oz ASW.
