This specimen was lot 386 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$2,155 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 20 Kopecks 1849, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PA. Very rare in this condition. PCGS MS64."
This type was struck 1832-58; the denomination was reduced to 3.6 g, 0.500 fine in 1867.
Recorded mintage: 3,250,000.
Specification: 4.14 g, 0.868 fine silver.
