This specimen was lot 1116 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$263 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Baden-Durlach, Markgrafschaft. Karl Wilhelm, 1709-1738. 30 Kreuzer 1735, Durlach. Walzenprägung. Sehr schön. (Germany, margraviate of Baden-Durlach, Charles William, 1709-38, thirty kreuzer of 1735, Durlach mint, roller dies. Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1733-36 and was the only issue of the denomination. Half gulden were minted 1838-69. At this time, Baden, in the southwest of Germany, was a minor state subject to frequent French invasions and issued little coinage.
