This specimen was lot 446 in UBS sale 85 (Zürich, September 2010), where it sold for 850 CHF (about US$970 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Württemberg, 1806 Königreich Friedrich II. (I.), 1797-1816. Kronentaler 1810. Schrötlingsf. Av. Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön." (Kingdom of Württemberg, Frederick II (1797-1816), kronenthaler of 1810. Very fine to good very fine.)
This type was struck 1810 in several varieties, all of which are rare. Later vereinsthaler from the 1850's are much more available.
Recorded mintage: unknown but few.
