This specimen was lot 1888 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 3,600 CHF (about US$4,757 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEDEN, Karl IX. 1604-1611. Riksdaler 1611, Stockholm. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Leicht gereinigt. (kingdom of Sweden, Charles IX, 1604-11, riksdaler of 1611, Stockholm mint. Rare, Good very fine, Lightly cleaned.)"
This type was issued 1607 and 1610-11. Many varieties exist, depending on the placement of "MEVM" and "NOS" on the reverse.
