This specimen was lot 2460 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$990 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RHODESIEN George V. 1910-1936. Half Crown 1932. FDC aus Polierter Platte. (Southern Rhodesia, George V, 1910-36. two shillings of 1932, choice proof.)"

Rhodesia, named after diamond magnate Cecil Rhodes, was created a self-governing colony of Britain in 1923. Coinage commenced in 1932. The colony was federated with Northern Rhodesia in 1956 but is now Zimbabwe. This type was struck 1932-36 only.
