This specimen was lot 26556 in Heritage sale 3007 (Dallas, January 2010), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "Tuscany. Cosimo II gold Florin 1608, Fine and very scarce. John the Baptist standing, reverse large lily." The SCWC lists this type for 1608-14 and does not assign it a particularly high price but this specimen realized over double the catalog value.
