This specimen was lot 1162 in Ponterio sale 158 (New York, January 2011), where it sold for $747.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Tuscany. Testone (30 baiocchi), 1611. Cosmo II (1609-21). Slightly uneven strike. Toned, VERY FINE." This type is unlisted in the SCWC but a testone was generally equal to one-third a piastra.
