This type was struck for Norway by the Swedish authorities 1876-78, 1884-85, 1889-99 and 1902. It is common in circulated condition, as depicted here, but scarce choice. Similar coins circulated in Denmark and Sweden.
Recorded mintage: 4,500,000.
