This specimen was lot 2851 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY: Oscar II, 1872-1905, AR 25 øre, 1898, a superb lustrous example! PCGS graded MS65, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type, struck 1896-1904, is fairly common tho less so than KM 373, which was struck 1909-19 after independence.
Recorded mintage: 400,000, a scarce date.
Specification: 2.42 g, 0.600 fine silver, 17 mm diameter.
