The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Stände von Böhmen und Mähren, 1619-1620 Kipper-24 Kreuzer 1619. Prag. Vorzüglich.'' (Estates of Bohemia-Moravia, 1619-20, kipper 24 kreuzer of 1619, Prague mint. Extremely fine.)"</blockquote> Kipper 24 kreuzer were struck at Kuttenberg (KM 227), Prague (shown here) and Joachimsthal (KM 228) for the Protestant Frederick V. The star over crescent is the Prague mintmark, with Benedikt Huebiner serving as mintmaster, 1610-30. Altho nominally a one-third thaler, it is too light and is probably debased as well, being an inflationary issue (1620-24) of the Thirty Years War.
